My Trip to The Big Apple
Well I went to NYC for 4 days last week.. It was so fun. We had an amazing trip. On the first day we went on a tour of Midtown Manhattan. It was soo cool.. I can' t count the places we saw.. We saw the Apple store which is pretty cool. It is a Glass cube with a gray apple hanging down and the whole store is underground. While we were there we went to FAO Swartz. I had my picture taken with the guard and a nice dinosaur. LOL... We saw a Couple movie stars.. Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson were filming in front of the Plaza hotel. Got a great pic of Anne. WE went to the Empire State Building at Sunset. BEAUTIFUL. Only God could make a sunset like that.
One of our tour guides one day was named Bob.. he is on Law and Order SVU every now and then. Plays a detective. He will be on tomorrow (Tues) at 9 Central time. This night we had NYC pizza. It was suppose to be voted best pizza in NYC by Oprah and Gayle. Let me say it is not very good Iin my opinion.
The second day we went to the Met Museum of Art. Not our thing but we saw the musical instrument exhibit and that was cool. We were so intrigued that we forgot to take pics. LOL That night we ate at Juniors in Grand Central Terminal. GREAT CHEESECAKE!!
We then walked to Time Square and looked around and shopped. Then we went to my highlight of our trip which was seeing Mary Poppins on Broadway. Let me tell you this is an amazing show. It was so cool; She flew into the audience. Bert danced on the ceiling. Amazing.... We had balcony seats but we didn't care. It is not like the movie. More like the book. We both sat with our mouths open the whole show.
The third day was a tour of lower Manhattan also. We saw Wall Street . NY Stock exhange, and Ground Zero. Let me tell you that Ground Zero was overwhelming. You just can't phathom the enormity of it all. We saw the church that all the rescue workers went to for rest and prayer. It is Right behind ground zero. Definely a God thing that it didn't get destroyed. That wasinteresting. That night we went to see Legally Blonde. It was good but not like Mary Poppins.
We had balcony seats but moved to the Mezzanine at intermission because it was empty.
We also had a free afternoon on the third day . My mom and I left the group and took the subway to the Bronx and went to see Yankee Stadium. It was nice. We didn't get to go inside but we went for my grandma who is a huge Yankee fan.
On the fourth day mom and I took a carriage ride in Central park and then shopped. I bought 2 pairs of sunglasses and two handbags . All knock offs but cute. We went to the NBC store that day too and saw more of Rockefeller center. We had the time of our lives and walked miles and miles. We both were exhausted but glad we went.
Here is a link of some of the pics we took. :)
Some pics were jokes such as the playboy enterprises ones. LOL

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE BOWS!!
Well let's see...........
Many of my bows do go to my daugthers. Most actually get sold and what don't I put on sale on my website. I have lots of places in my house to store them.
HE HE!!! Much to my husband's dismay. SO BUY THEM SO I don't have to store them and I can have a HAPPY marriage! HE DOES NOT LIKE THE BOWS!!
I do give some away for prizes from drawings I have on my site. MANY of the bows I have made get sold and then I relist and if they don't sell .... well I just don't have to make them. So that is what happens to the bows!

Back in School at 30!
I went back to school at the age of 25 after my first daughter was born. I have been working on my associates in teaching for the last 5 years. YES I KNOW 5 years. I am almost there and then I get the great fun of doing my last 2 years of full time school. Anyhow... I encourage anyone who is thinking of going back to school to do so. Even one class at a time. I love it. I do better in school now then I did when I was younger. I value my education much more now.
I want to share good news I got today. I got a 95 on my Physical Science test. I HATE SCIENCE!!! I didn't study much for this test. I missed class 2 times due to illness and stupidity ( I locked my keys in my car ). AND STILL A 95 wooohooo.
ANyway... get that education cause you never know when you will need it.
